You are in the right place. One deposit holds your seat — and from the moment it reaches us, you are not doing any of the rest of it alone. We stay with you through the paperwork, the flights and the road up to Rishikesh, until you are standing in our courtyard.
Nothing extra, nothing hidden
The deposit is not a fee on top. It comes straight off your course total, and the balance is paid at check-in — in person, once you have seen the place.
It holds a real seat
Batches are capped at 15 to 18 students, so a seat is a genuine thing to hold. Yours is set against your name and your dates the day your deposit lands.
A person replies, not a receipt bot
Send us the screenshot and someone from the school writes back within 24 hours, usually much sooner, confirming your name, your course and your dates.
Guided until you arrive
Visa questions, what to pack, which airport, which train, the cab from Dehradun. Ask us anything between now and check-in — that is part of what you have booked.

What it costs to hold a place
This is advance payment to secures your place in the training. This advanced payment will be deducted from your total course fee, and the remaining balance is payable upon arrival during check-in.
Whatever you send here is deducted from your course fee. The balance is due at check-in, not before — see the rates on your course page for the full figure.

As your dates near
We plan the journey with you
Fly into Dehradun (DED), or come by train to Yog Nagari Rishikesh or Haridwar. Tell us your arrival time and we arrange the cab to the school.
Arrival day
You are met, and you settle in
Your room, your first meal, and a walk around the place. The remaining balance is paid at check-in — after you have arrived, not before.
Somewhere in the middle of that, most people have a question they would rather ask out loud than read.
Making sure it is really us
You are sending money abroad to people you have not met. Four things worth knowing, so you never have to take that on trust alone.
- These two channels are the only ones we use: the HDFC account and the UPI QR on this page. We will never send you a different account by message.
- We will never ask for an OTP, a card PIN or your bank password. Nobody who genuinely works here needs any of them.
- The account name will always read Hariom Yoga Vidya School. If your app shows you anything else, stop and message us before confirming.
- Always get your confirmation in writing. If a payment leaves your account and nothing comes back from us within 24 hours, chase it — that is what the WhatsApp line is for.

The questions people ask with their card in hand
What if my plans change after I have paid?
The advance deposit is not refundable. But it is not lost either: in an emergency we move you onto another schedule rather than keeping your money for a course you cannot attend. Tell us as early as you can.
How much is left to pay, and when?
Your course fee minus the deposit you sent, payable at check-in on arrival. There is nothing to pay in between. Fees are held for one week from arrival, after which a late charge of $10 per day applies.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Yes. We accept US dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Australian and Canadian dollars and Indian rupees among others. Your bank converts at its own rate — the deposit figures on this page are quoted in US dollars so everyone is looking at the same number.
Can I pay the whole fee now instead?
You can, and some students prefer to. Message us first so we confirm the exact total for your dates and room type before you send it, rather than after.
I sent it and nothing happened. What now?
Message us on WhatsApp with the screenshot and the date. International transfers can take two or three working days to show on our side, and we would far rather check twice than leave you waiting.
The policies, in full
- The Advanced deposit and Course fee submitted with the application is not refundable. only in the case of emergency students can join us on other schedules.
- Accepted currencies include US dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Australian and Canadian dollars and Indian rupees, plus others.
- Late payment carries a 7 Days $10 Late Fee Per day charge if course fees aren't submitted within one week of arrival.

Refer a friend
What you get for sending somebody here
Every student and every graduate of this school is given a referral code, and a link that fills it in for whoever opens it. When somebody you send books with us, pays their fee and arrives, there is something in it for both of you. These are the conditions, written down before you start rather than explained afterwards.

Sent to you by the school once your friend has paid their course fee in full and arrived. We arrange it with you directly, so tell us how you would like it.
Your friend, for arriving

Taken off what they owe us, so it comes out of the balance they settle at check-in rather than arriving separately.

Share your link, or give them your code. Ask us for either if you do not have it to hand.

Your friend puts the code in the referral box when they write to us. It is at the foot of every enquiry form, and the link fills it in for them.

When they have paid in full and arrived at the school, we get in touch with you.
The conditions, in full
- It is earned when your friend arrives, not when they book
- Nothing is owed on a deposit, and nothing is owed on a booking that never travels. Your friend has to have paid their whole course fee and checked in at the school. That is one milestone, and it is the same for every program we run.
- They book at the published price
- The reward is for bringing somebody to a course at the rate published on this site. If your friend has already agreed a lower fee, or is booking on some other offer, the referral does not earn on top of it. The $49.99 welcome credit is the one reduction that does not disqualify it, because it is part of this offer rather than a second discount.
- Any training, any retreat, on both sides
- It makes no difference which program your friend books, or which one you did. A 7 day retreat guest who sends a 300 hour trainee has made a full referral, and it counts exactly the same.
- Your code never expires, and there is no limit
- Whichever year you trained here, your code goes on working. There is no cap on how many friends you send, and none on what you can earn from them.
- One reward for one booking
- A booking earns the reward once, for one code. If two people believe they sent the same student, the school goes by the code recorded on that person's enquiry — which is the reason to send your link rather than to rely on your name coming up.
- If your friend cancels
- Because nothing is sent until they have arrived and paid in full, a cancellation before that means the reward has simply not been earned yet. Your code is unaffected, and the next friend you send counts as normal.
- You can use your own code on your own next course
- If you trained here and are coming back, your own code works on your own booking: the $49.99 comes off your fee and the $99.99 is sent to you, the same as any other referral. It is the one reduction here that nobody who has not studied with us can reach.
Every reward is checked and sent by a person at the school rather than by anything automatic, so allow us a little time after your friend arrives. If you have trained here and do not know your code, or you sent somebody and they forgot to use it, write to us — we can look it up and put it right.
